and about That good night
The Harry Potter star wrapped That Good Night before his death last week, but producers are still scrambling to pull together the finances they need to release the film, which also features another British veteran, Charles Dance.
"The film is in post-production and we have just a small investment slot available for investors before this project is full," a spokesman for the film tells WENN.
Anyone investing in the film will be invited to a private screening of what is Hurt's last film next month (Feb17).
That Good Night is scheduled to be released later this year.

Mr Dance guest of The Chastity Butterworth Show

remember :
http://aboutactorcharlesdance.blogspot.fr/2016/07/charles-will-be-at-chastity-butterworth.html

A delicious flirt and doyenne of the double entendre, Chastity and her faithful butler Roger invite listeners to one of the legendary social soirées at her country house, Butterworth Hall. Endlessly fascinated by everyone and everything, Chastity's breathless cut-glass purr gives her interviews a unique blend of naïve enthusiasm, warm seduction and infectious humour.
Chastity and the over excited butler Roger have an odd-couple relationship which adds to the fun for guests - Charles Dance, Lady Colin Campbell and Joe Lycett.

Blood War reviews

'                           Underworld: Blood Wars' Interview
                https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPAVM4_bhg8

It’s all so hysterically stupid,.....It’s fun, even if it’s never funny, and that’s because it embraces its B-movie roots so easily. It helps because there’s a supporting cast that appears to be having a goddamn ball chewing scenery like a motherfucker. Charles Dance is basically Vampire Tywin Lannister, full of cold gazes and dramatic statements, and I want to just clink glasses with him for owning that silly shit.
.............
Charles Dance (wishy-washy Dracula stand-in), Tobias Menzies (werewolf terrorist with Giant-Man powers) and Lara Pulver (Disney villainess vamp with a leather and lace wardrobe) recite unspeakable exposition, giving the impression that a BBC quality drama cast are trying to work out the rules of a poorly-translated fantasy role-playing game...........Blood Wars is tragically bereft of the pulp verve this nonsense needs to be tolerable
http://www.empireonline.com/movies/underworld-blood-wars/review/
.............
All this as David (Theo James, deserving far better) discovers a vital piece of information about his father (Charles Dance doing a Charles Dance) and his deceased mother; Semira (Lara Pulver, also deserving far better) yearns for power and goth lycan superstar Marius (Tobias Menzies, again also deserving far better) readies his army for a war against the vampires......
As a franchise, it’s not even of a level of the putrid Resident Evil films. There is no rhyme or reason to its existence and it has the balls to call for a further goddamn sequel. Stop it.

............
The plotting is sheer hokum and owes a large debt to Game Of Thrones. The presence of Charles Dance as a patriarchal vampire leader adds to the sense that we may have strayed into a George RR Martin adaptation in which all the characters have funny teeth.

............
Oh yeah, and Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister himself) appears to cash a quick paycheck in a role to what amounts to a cameo before he finds a way out of the bloody movie..............So, if the story and acting is terrible, is there anything to salvage this mess? Well, the Underworld series did have decent action…I think. But not here, the action is overly reliant on computer generated effects that have not advanced since 2003.

.................
Charles Dance comes on, selling his preposterous lines with absolute conviction and professionalism and giving everything a residual Game-of-Thrones vibe.

.................
Beckinsale looks largely bored in her lead role, as does Theo James, but with the presence of the hammy musings from the ever reliable Charles Dance, and a vampy turn from Lara Pulver’s dominatrix-like cradle-snatcher Semira, things become slightly more interesting.

.............
I have, in fact, seen this film, and a film that cannot even make Charles Dance playing a vampire lord entertaining is objectively puke.

..........
And what the hell are you doing in this Charles Dance?  You’re actually a great actor.  I can understand Theo James, who returns to this installment (Selene brought him back to life), but why are you back Charles?  Like Matt Damon in that ridiculous upcoming The Great Wall film they got him to do, you have so much more potential and talent than this.  I guess it’s like they always say that every one has a price.
