update 11/06 : it's really about cancer prostate
Celebs star in Prostate Cancer UK film
A host of stars including Ray Winstone, Charles Dance and Tamzin Outhwaite have teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK for a special film to raise awareness of prostate cancer. Titled Father's Day, the 18 minute movie forms part of ITV's week long corporate responsibility campaign, Stand By Your Man. By showing 'hard men' talking about prostate cancer and how it has effected them, the producers and the charity look to spark discussion about the disease and reassure men that they are not alone. Charles comments, 'I did recognise the reluctance of the men in the film to talk about such issues, I think that's true. While men tend to make more of a drama than women about everyday illness, they tend not to open up as much about more difficult matters.'
The film airs on Father's Day June 16 at 11.45pm on ITV4.

Charles was at the premiere of Paper Dolls
Actor Adrian Lester and his playwright wife Lolita Chakrabarti were
among the guests at Kilburn’s Tricycle Theatre last night for the
premiere of Paper Dolls, Philip Himberg’s play about the Filipino care
workers in Tel Aviv who became a popular drag act.
Also showing their support were actors Charles Dance and Jemma
Redgrave and Imelda Staunton. Dance — who plays the villain Tywin
Lannister in Game of Thrones — let slip this week that there will
definitely be a fourth series of the TV show.
Dance revealed that he would have loved to don a tailcoat for Downton Abbey but, despite working with Julian Fellowes in the past, he was never asked to join the show.
