Charles has recorded Room 101 (1 Oct)

and it will be broadcast in early 2014....for BBC One host by Frank Skinner

Room 101 is a BBC tv show in which celebrities are invited to discuss their pet hates and persuade the host to consign them to a fate worse than death in Room 101, named after the torture room in the novel 1984.

The fast moving game show meets talk show sees Frank refereeing three celebrities each week as they compete for his approval to banish their top peeve, annoyance, irritation or worst nightmare to the depths of Room 101 forever. Charles in a new whisky ad for Chivas Regal

He's a barman in a new whisky ad in a online short film : Barman.

The ad celebrates the age of the cocktail from the 1920s through to present day, with the barman commenting: "If you really want to get the measure of a man's character, just watch how he treats the person that serves him."

Charles, agreed: "You should always behave in a way that you would like people to behave to you. That, to me, is generosity of spirit."

 Barman is the latest instalment of Chivas Regal's Live with Chivalry campaign and launches  on October 1, 2013

Affably absent-minded Earl of Emsworth, preparing his prize-winning pig Empress of Blandings for the Shropshire Agricultural Show, is afraid that rival pig-owner Sir Gregory Parsloe is planning to nobble his precious Empress. Parsloe fears that Emsworth's brother Galahad's memoirs contain scurrilous stories about their younger days in the naughty 1890s - particularly a racy story involving some prawns. He plans to hire private detective Percy Pilbeam to purloin the manuscript.
