Room 101 is a BBC tv show in which celebrities are invited to discuss their pet hates and persuade the host to consign them to a fate worse than death in Room 101, named after the torture room in the novel 1984.

Charles in a new whisky ad for Chivas Regal

He's a barman in a new whisky ad in a online short film : Barman.

The ad celebrates the age of the cocktail from the 1920s through to present day, with the barman commenting: "If you really want to get the measure of a man's character, just watch how he treats the person that serves him."

Charles, agreed: "You should always behave in a way that you would like people to behave to you. That, to me, is generosity of spirit."

 Barman is the latest instalment of Chivas Regal's Live with Chivalry campaign and launches  on October 1, 2013
