 Charles Dance joined impressionist John Culshaw, and a sledload of stars at the Carols by Candlelight in support of the men’s health charity Prostate Cancer UK. Robert Powell, Lionel Blair, Jeffrey Archer, Martha Kearney and Corrie’s Kazia Pelka performed candlit readings at St Paul’s Church Knightsbridge and were joined by further supporters of the charity and members of the public. Over £17,000 was raised by the star-studded singsong which will go towards fighting a disease which kills one man in the UK every hour.
