Not completely sure. When I was introduced, I was an ally to Ian’s character. Then I tried to kill him and it’s gone back and forth. He seems to have split audiences, but I think that’s good. Personally, I prefer watching Charles Dance playing Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones over some of the good guys.
