"When Tommy and Tuppence Beresford visit her elderly Aunt Ada in a nursing home, Tuppence is concerned by the odd behavior of one resident -- Mrs. Lancaster -- who rambles on about a dead child hidden behind the fireplace. The painting is of a 'Witch's House' and soon leads them to the Norfolk village of Farrell St. Edmund, where they hope to find the mysterious cottage. Instead they find a community guarding an array of secrets....."
