Pics for today

"For Lieutenant Charles Dance, a post on His Majesty’s survey ship Tenacious is just one more dutiful rung on the ladder of his career. Even a headstrong bluestocking on board is less troubling than the ship’s drunken captainand the ferocious gales that drive the ship off course. Stranded on a remote island, passion blazes between them as hot as the sun, but it’s Jane’s love that Charles wants forever…Elizabeth Essex's A Scandal to Remember is a very good Adventure on the High Seas romance. I could almost taste the salt in the air, feel the spray of the waves, and hear the creaking of the masts as they are buffeted by the winds. This is a Naval Story, and in particular, a story about Lieutenant Charles Dance as he struggles to do his duty with what has to be the worst ship and crew in the Royal Navy."

Err !

there's a new commercial coming...
that's him !
and someone is pregnant
"He won't say any more about the specifics, though when asked if a significant age gap can be a problem, his reply suggests that he and the 25-year-old Thunderbirds star had different ideas about starting a family.
"Age difference doesn't matter. But one has to consider children. When you get to a certain age, there's more sand in the bottom of the egg-timer than at the top. It's nice to feel you have some guarantee you're going to be around when your kids are in their teens, and the chances are that you might not. I adore my own kids, but I'm not a great lover of children. I don't go 'ooh-aah' at babies."

From actor Michael Malarkey(Vampire Diaries)

2 /Do they love you, hate you or love to hate you?...
Not completely sure. When I was introduced, I was an ally to Ian’s character. Then I tried to kill him and it’s gone back and forth. He seems to have split audiences, but I think that’s good. Personally, I prefer watching Charles Dance playing Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones over some of the good guys.

Tsss !

"...I can return to my morning routine of an 8am swim in the Hampstead Lido. I only do it from mid-March to the end of September because when the temperature drops below 6C even I tend to wimp out...After my swim it's a five-minute cycle ride back home for the full cardiac-arrest breakfast..."
"Aware, though not obsessed with the ageing process, Dance has a regime that is almost military in its precision. Every morning he goes swimming for 30 minutes in the unheated Lido on Parliament Hill Fields winter aside and works out with his own weights and cycle at home. "I do something every day, a bit of yoga, pilates and a bit of military stuff."
